Are you a newbie juicer? Follow these basic steps and secrets to get you up and juicing like a pro!

Our Favorite for ACNE Clients:
Drink a cup of 16 oz straight celery juice on an empty stomach 30 minutes before breakfast. This is very important because the sodium crystals in celery help to kill bacteria in the liver! My favorite book about this topic is by The Medical Medium. Don’t Just Throw Stuff Together!
There definitely is an art to the flavor of creating a juice. Follow the recipes you find for juicing to find the best way to pair fruits and veggies! My favorite recipes come from @allaboutjuicing’s amazing book! If you aren’t ready for the vegetable juices, ease into the fruit juices in this book.
It’s All About the Juice Baby!
Your juicer MATTERS! There is a BIG difference between a regular juicer and a masticating juicer:
A regular machine creates heat while spinning and extracting juice which can kill the natural enzymes in fruits and vegetables.
However, in a masticating juicer, juice is extracted much slower without heat, which leaves more enzymes for the body to benefit from. It is also called a cold-pressed juicer.
Start With a Simple Juicer:
If you’re not sure if you’re going to like it, start with cheap juicer from Walmart (not a masticating juicer) that way you’re not wasting a lot of money if you decide you don’t like it. This is a great juicer to start with!
If you love it, graduate to a REAL masticating juicer!
I’ve had this one for over a year and have made over 100 juices! I did break a major part while I was not paying attention and sadly cannot find a replacement part. But it was a great juicer that was perfect for me at the time.
How to Store Juice:
Juice needs to be stored in GLASS to preserve enzymes. Something about plastic just makes juice taste not as good! These glass bottles are my absolute fave! It keeps my juice fresh and tasty all day!
How Long Will It Stay Fresh?
If you store it properly, in a clean, sealed, airtight glass container that you keep in your fridge, most juices will stay wholesome and fresh for at least 24-48 hours. However, some of the more “fragile” nutrients in produce may start degrading within a day or so. To get the maximum benefit from juicing, it’s best to drink the juice the same day you make it. You won’t be making gallons of it in any one batch, so drinking it the same day (or within 24 hours) shouldn’t be a problem. I like to make it the night before so it’s ready to go in the morning!
How Often Should I Juice?
I would recommend every day for optimal health!
Remember all it takes is just baby steps to improve your health! A juice today, a salad tomorrow, a marathon next month! You can do it!
